Each key is assigned multiple
characters. Character switches each
time key is pressed.
Use two-digit combinations to enter
character.
Kanji, hiragana, katakana, alphabet
(upper/lower case), numbers, symbols,
pictographs
Katakana, alphabet (upper/lower case),
numbers, symbols
For every one to five hiragana characters
entered, conversion candidate words
starting with those characters appear.
After characters are confirmed, the next
word is predicted from previous input/
conversion records, appearing as

• The order of the switch input mode palette corresponds to the
keypad layout.
