3.2 Diagnosis via PROFIBUS−DP

3.2.1 Diagnostic words

The CP system supports diagnostic possibilities via the
PROFIBUS as per EN 50170. The device−specific diagnosis is
supported.
Note
The identifier−related or channel−related diagnosis listed in
EN 50170 is not supported.
The following fault states of the CPI system are grouped into
diagnostic words and passed on to the DP master:
failure of the load voltage supply for the valves (pin 2)
short circuit in sensor power supply
failure of load voltage at the output modules
short circuit/overload on the output modules
interruption of the CPI connection on various CPI modules
lower voltage tolerance limit of CP valves exceeded
(. 20.4 V).
