Procedure:
1. Carry out the basic configuration 1.
2. Pull the entry Tool change O/I:32/32" out of the hard
ware catalogue onto the 2nd. line of the configuration
table 2.
With the tool change configuration the maximum possible
32 inputs and 32 outputs will be assigned, irrespective of
whether these are used or not. The addresses are assigned
without gaps, module after module in ascending sequence.
Please take this into account when programming the con
troller.
Caution
Communication via the PROFIBUS−DP will start in any case,
even if the addresses are used incorrectly.
Incorrect addressing can cause functional damage with the
tool change configuration.
With the tool change configuration make sure that the
input and output signals are used correctly in your control
sequence (see example in Tab. 2/7).
