Diagnosis via PROFIBUS DP
System CPX-E supports the following diagnostics options via PROFIBUS DP in the following stages according to
IEC 61158:
–
Station status (standard diagnostic information)
–
Devide-related diagnostics (general, device-related status signals of the system)
–
Identifier-related diagnostics (diagnostics assigned to the modules)
–
Channel-related diagnostics (diagnostics assigned to the channels)
–
Module number
–
Channel number and input/output
–
Type of diagnostics (error type and channel type)

The necessary steps for performing diagnostics on the system CPX-E are explained below.

The diagnostic information is sent to the master system only when the diagnostic mode is activated.
In some cases, the diagnostics mode must be shut down to commission the system.
