Forcing the Output of Excess Tab Paper

You can set whether to force the output of excess tab paper that was not used for a Copy or
Print job that used tab paper. For more information on copying or printing on tab paper, see
Chapter 4, "Special Copying and Mail Box Features," in the Copying and Mail Box Guide.
IMPORTANT
Before you copy or print on tab paper, you must register the number of tabs required for your copy or
print job. If the required number of tab sheets exceeds the number of registered tabs, you can set to
have the machine force out the remaining tab sheets when the copy or print job is complete.

Select [On] or [Off] ➞ press [OK].
NOTE
If [Unfinished Tab Paper Forced Output] is set to 'On', the extra amount of tab paper sheets that
were not required for the job are forced out of the machine.
Example:
If the number of tabs is set to 5 and the machine estimates that seven sheets of
tab paper are needed for the copy/print job, you must prepare two sets of tab
paper each containing five tabs (10 total). Therefore, if the machine only uses
seven tab paper sheets, three tab paper sheets will remain.
