Collating Copies
The Finisher modes can be selected to collate the copies in various ways, either by
pages or copy sets.

IMPORTANT
•
The Finisher modes cannot be set if envelopes, transparencies, tracing paper, labels, tab
paper, or Washi (Japanese paper) is selected.
•
When no optional finisher is attached and Tray B (side output tray) is set as the output
tray for the Copy function, copies are output face up. Therefore, the order of the output
page is reversed from the order of the originals. To prevent this, set Tray Designation in
Common Settings (from the Additional Functions screen) to Tray A (center output tray) or
Tray C (Copy Tray Unit-H1) for the Copy function. (See Chapter 4, "Customizing
Settings," in the Reference Guide.)
NOTE
For instructions on using the optional Finisher-M1, Finisher-N1, or Saddle Finisher-N2,
see Chapter 3, "Optional Equipment," in the Reference Guide.
