Points to note when replacing Inter Transfer Belt Assembly
[Detail]
To replace Inter. Transfer Belt Assembly, take either of the following measures depending upon the service part to be replaced
with.
Measure A:
To replace Inter Transfer Belt Assembly, prepare 1 Inter Transfer Belt Kit (FM1-K059-000) and follow the directions below. Only
replacing Inter Transfer Belt Assembly in the old type Right Cover Unit without following the proper procedures may cause the
right cover not to open once closed.
Measure B:
To replace Inter. Transfer Belt Assembly with the new type Inter. Transfer Belt Assembly (FM1-A153-020), there is no need to
check if the Right Cover Unit is the old type or the new type.
[Service work]
Choose and perform between the directions A) and B) according to the service part to be replaced with.
A) To replace with Inter. Transfer Belt Kit (FM1-K059-000)
When replacing Inter Transfer Belt Assembly, prepare 1 Inter. Transfer Belt Kit (FM1-K059-000) and follow the directions below.
1) Open the right door and check whether the right door unit is the new type or the old type.
• Old type right cover unit [A]: Sheet [2] is attached. Also, it has the old type Lock Guide [1]. (Rib[a] and rib[b] are NOT
available.)
• New type right cover unit [B]: No sheet is available. Also, it has the new type Lock Guide [1]. (with Rib[a] and rib[b])
