This wheel has been designed t o operate over long periods w i t h o u t maintenance.
it w i l l be noted that there
is no provision for greasing, as before t h e wheel is assembled.
t h e bearings and other working surfaces are fully loaded w i t h grease sufficient for
20,000 miles (30,000 kms.).
In view o f t h e above and the special equipment required t o dismantle t h e spring
wheel f o r rectification, owners are strongly advised t o r e t u r n t h e wheel t o their
dealer, o r direct t o o u r Service Department, when attention
Is
needed.

t h e i r o w n maintenance and repairs.

M u d g u a r d .
Disconnect the rear light leads under the saddle.
Remove t h e bolts
connecting t h e rear section mudguard t o the frame and lift the mudguard away.
It
is unnecessary t o disturb the mudguard of the
TR5
model i n order t o remove t h e
wheel.
Chain.
Disconnect the spring link from the rear chain and disengage from t h e
sprocket. Engage a gear t o prevent the chain rolling off t h e sprocket.
