Prerequisites
You must have Security Administrator (View & Modify) role to perform this task.
Procedure
1. Click Settings > Security > Login Message. The Remote Web Console secondary window opens.
2. Click
to change to Modify mode.
3. Enter the message in the window. Alphanumeric characters and symbols can be used in the message.
The maximum length of the message is 2,048 characters.
4. Click Apply.

Setting e-mail notification for SIMs or SNMP traps

You can specify notification by e-mail to key users when system failures occur. Failures reported in the e-
mail are the same as the SIMs displayed in the Alerts window or reported by SNMP traps.
You can configure e-mails for any SIMs caused by software licensing events or Thin Provisioning
threshold events.
With SNMP traps, e-mail notification eliminates the need for checking for failures with the SNMP
manager.
You can also send a test e-mail.
SIMs failures reported by e-mail typically require user action. These SIMs are caused either by reaching
the threshold levels configured by the user, or by a software license needing user attention.
The following SIMs are reported by e-mail:
