General troubleshooting

A system administrator is responsible for the operation and normal maintenance of the Remote Web
Console Web client. The following are guidelines for troubleshooting the Remote Web Console Web
client:
Check the cabling and the LAN. Verify that both the computer and LAN cabling are firmly attached,
and that the LAN is operating properly.
Reboot the computer. Close any programs that are not responding. If necessary, reboot the Remote
Web Console computer and restart a Remote Web Console Web client session.
Check for any general error conditions. For a complete list of Remote Web Console error codes, see
the XP P9000 Remote Web Console Messages.
Check the alert icon. Confirm the severity level of the storage system alert by clicking Alert on the
Remote Web Console main window. If you cannot resolve an error condition, contact Hewlett Packard
Enterprise technical support.
