Viewing Abnormal State on MOD Loop Displays

The Abnormal State field specifies whether the system should check the loop for an
abnormal condition.

Viewing Abnormal State on MOD Loop Displays
Indicates and abnormal condition. An
abnormal condition for a continuous loop is
caused by any one of the following conditions:
Loop is off
An FCM is off
Output of an FCM which is not a PID or AM
Controller FCM is in MANUAL
Output mode of a PID Controller FCM or an AM
Controller FCM is not in its design state as defined
on its templet
Setpoint mode of a PID Controller FCM is not in its
design state as defined on its templet
When set to YES, the system checks for an abnormal
state. When an abnormal state exists, the condition is
displayed as ABNM in the status area.
