When you see quotation marks in a command's parameter (shown in the

An element inside brackets is optional. Note, the brackets are not part of
the command and should not be sent to the instrument.
Means use either 1 or 2.
Means enter a number.
Means you must use either all the upper case letters or the entire word.
The lower case letters are optional. For example, SENS and SENSE are
both valid.
However, SEN is not valid. (Note SENSe is used here as an example, but
this convention applies to all SCPI commands.)
