This command is the device-specific analog of the IEEE 488.1 Group Execute
Trigger (GET) interface message (page 216), and has exactly the same effect.
The *TRG command performs the action defined by the *DDT command
(page 149).

*TST? (Self-Test Query)

*TST?
COMMAND
This query causes an internal self-test; the response indicates whether any errors
were detected.
When the self-test fails, error -330 is generated, and other messages indicating
specific failures are also placed in the error/event queue.

– A response value of zero indicates the self-test has completed with no errors

for requesting service. (The Master Summary Status is not sent in response to
a serial poll; the IEEE 488.1 RQS message is sent instead.) It is the inclusive OR
of the bitwise combination (excluding bit 6) of the Status Byte Register and the
Service Request Enable Register.
