Opening Your Brower

1. Open your browser with the cookie function enabled. (To enable your Internet Explorer for cookies, right
click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon, select Properties, click on the Security tab, and then select
the three Enable options as shown in the figure below.)
2. Type 192.168.127.254 in the Address box (use the correct IP address if different from the default), and
then press Enter. You will be asked to enter a password to access the device. The default password for
MiiNePort E1 is moxa.
ATTENTION
If you use other web browsers, remember to enable the functions to allow cookies that are stored on your
computer or allow per-session cookies. MiiNePort modules only use cookies for password transmission.

Refer to Chapter 5: Initial IP Address Configuration for instructions on IP configuration.
3. The web console will open. On this page, you can see a brief description of the web console's function
groups in the left part of the page. You can also see a configuration overview of your MiiNePort module.
