Use the dot1x test timeout global configuration command on the switch stack or on a standalone switch
to configure the timeout used to wait for EAPOL response from a port being queried for IEEE 802.1x
readiness.

The default setting is 10 seconds.

Use this command to configure the timeout used to wait for EAPOL response.
There is not a no form of this command.
This example shows how to configure the switch to wait 27 seconds for an EAPOL response:
Switch# dot1x test timeout 27
You can verify the timeout configuration status by entering the show run privileged EXEC command.

1 to 65535 seconds.
