Statement introduced before Junos OS Release 10.2 for J-EX Series switches.
Maximum number of times a user can attempt to enter a password while logging in
through SSH or Telnet before being disconnected.
backoff-threshold number
user experiences a delay when attempting to reenter a password. Use the
option to specify the length of delay, in seconds.
backoff-factor
Range: 1 through 3
Default: 2
—Length of delay after each failed login attempt. The length of
backoff-factor seconds
delay increases by this value for each subsequent login attempt after the value
specified in the
backoff-threshold
Range: 5 through 10
Default: 5
maximum-time seconds
—Maximum length of time that the connection remains open for
the user to enter a username and password to log in. If the user remains idle and
does not enter a username and password within the configured
connection is closed.
Range: 20 through 300
Default: 120
—Minimum length of time that the connection remains open while
minimum-time seconds
