Command introduced before Junos OS Release 10.2 for J-EX Series switches.
Install a software package or bundle on the router or switch.
package-name
—Location from which the software package or bundle is to be installed.
For example:
/var/tmp/package-name
from a local directory on the router or switch.
protocol://hostname/pathname/package-name
that is to be downloaded and installed from a remote location. Replace
with one of the following:
—File Transfer Protocol.
ftp
