Configuring a VE interface
Before you configure IPoEoA and PPPoEoA, you must specify a VE interface.
To configure a VE interface:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Create a VE interface and
enter VE interface view.
3.
Configure the description for
the interface.
4.
Configure the MTU for the
interface.
5.
Configure the MAC address
for the interface.
6.
Configure
bandwidth for the interface.
7.
Restore the default settings
for the interface.
8.
Shut down the interface.
To configure a VE subinterface:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Create a VE subinterface
and enter VE subinterface
view.
3.
Configure the description for
the subinterface.
4.
Configure the MTU for the
subinterface.
5.
Configure
bandwidth
subinterface.
6.
Restore the default settings
for the interface.
7.
Shut down the subinterface.
