With AUTO selected, the Model 2500 will automatically go to the most
sensitive source range for each source level in the sweep. For front panel
operation, this is the AUTO RANGE option.
With FIXed selected, the source remains on the range that it is presently
on when the sweep is started. For sweep points that exceed the source
range capability, the source will output the maximum level for that
range. For front panel operation, this is the FIXED option.
