DXi6900 Node Power Supply Indicators

Each DXi6900 Node power supply has an illuminated translucent handle that serves as an indicator to show
whether power is present or whether a power fault has occurred (see

Green
Flashing amber
Flashing green
All power supplies are hot swappable. When replacing power supplies, never remove more than one power
supply at a time from the system. Also, before you remove one power supply, make sure the other power
supply is operating correctly (indicator handle is green).

Off - Indicates the port is not connected to the network.

Green - Indicates the port is connected to the network at maximum speed (10

Gbps).
Amber - Indicates the port is connected to the network at less than its maximum

port speed.
Blinking green - Indicates network data is being sent or received.

Indicates power is not connected.
Indicates a valid power source is connected to the power supply and that the power supply
is operational.
Indicates a problem with the power supply.
When hot-adding a power supply, this indicates that the power supply is mismatched with
the other power supply. Replace the power supply that has the flashing indicator with a
power supply that matches the capacity of the other installed power supply.
