18. Remove the cam chain guide A (A) and tensioner
arm (8).
19. Remove the cam chain.
Cam Chain Installation
NOTE: Keep the cam chain away from magnetic fields.
1. Set the crankshaft to top dead center (TOe). Align
the TOe mark (A) on the crankshaft sprocket with
the pointer (8) on the cylinder block.

2. Setthe camshafts to TOe. The punch mark (A) on
the variable valve timing control (VTe) actuator and
the punch mark (8) on the exhaust camshaft
sprocket should be at the top. Align the TOe marks
(e) on the VTe actuator and exhaust camshaft
sprocket.
