Verify a Fan Module
1.
Ensure that you have completed the following:
Applied power to the server.

Powered on the server.

Check the front or rear panel LEDs for the following:
Green System OK LED – lit
■
Amber System Fault LED – not lit
■
Amber System Fan Fault LED – not lit
■

If these conditions are met, continue to

Log in to Oracle ILOM.

Start the faultmgmt shell.

Use the fmadm faulty command to check for faults.
If faults are reported, see

If no faults are reported, then the fan module has been replaced successfully.
