Servicing Fan Modules

The server continues to operate at full capacity if one fan module is not operational. If the
server is operating with four fan modules installed and one or more of those four fan modules
fails, the server will power down to keep from overheating. You can perform a hot-service on a
fan module only when four or five fan modules are operational.
