Description
This command is used to enter a static ARP entry into the Switch's ARP table.
Format
create arpentry <ipaddr> <macaddr>
Parameters
<ipaddr> - Enter the end node or station IP address.
<macaddr> - Enter the corresponding MAC address of the IP address above.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To create a static ARP entry for the IP address 10.48.74.121 and MAC address 00-50-BA-00-07-
36:
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA-00-07-36
Command: create arpentry 10.48.74.121 00-50-BA-00-07-36
Success.
