1.3.2 Configuring Layer 2 Flow Import If Interfaces Are Aggregated

When firewalls, load balancing, and IPSec are used, you are advised to aggregate two groups of
virtual XGE service interfaces on the S7700 and SPU as Eth-Trunk interfaces to increase
bandwidth on interfaces.

This topic describes how to configure Layer 2 flow import on the S7700 in interface aggregation
mode.

Number of the slot to which the SPU is inserted
ID of the VLAN to which interfaces belong
Number of the slot to which the LPU is inserted
NOTE
To facilitate description, the direction of forwarding traffic from the LPU to the SPU is the incoming
direction of traffic; the direction of forwarding traffic from the SPU to the LPU is the outgoing direction
of traffic.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Run:
vlan vlan-id
An inbound VLAN is created and the VLAN view is displayed.
Run:
quit
Exit from the VLAN view.
Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The LPU interface (this interface forwards traffic to the SPU for processing) view is
displayed.
Run:
port link-type { access | hybrid | trunk }
The link type of the interface is configured.
Run the corresponding command according to the link type to add the interface to the
inbound VLAN:
