7.11.2 Operation mode

You can set the operation mode to "RECEIVER" mode in which the MSD is controlled externally or
"TRANSMITTER" mode in which the MSD controls peripheral devices.
The setting of this menu is not updated until the MENU/SET key is pressed. Make sure to press the
MENU/SET key to update the setting.

7.11.3 RS-232C transmission between control devices

The RS-232C connector of the MSD works according to the setting of "7.11.2
OFF [Default]
Operation mode".
OUT1B
Communicates between the RS-232C connector of the MSD and the RS-232C
connector of the HDC receiver that is connected to a digital signal output connector for
extension.
OUT2B
The RS-232C connector of the MSD cannot be used for communication command
control to the MSD from PCs or control command output to external devices from the
MSD.
You can set the connection between the RS-232C connector of the MSD and the RS-232C connector of the
HDC receiver that is connected to a digital signal output connector for extension.
