AIS data server

Click on the envelope icon to display the messaging dialogue and click the "Incoming"
button to see incoming messages.
New messages are listed in the lower part of the window with the senders name and the
time of reception.
Click on the line to display the full message in the upper part of the dialogue.
Double click on the message to acknowledge it or push the "Acknowledge" button to
acknowledge all messages. The messages that have not been acknowledged are
displayed as bold.
Right click on the message to delete it from the list or click "Clear" to delete all messages.
Select how long you want to keep the messages in the log with the "Save last" parameter.
Print all messages with the button "Print History".
Display Incoming messages from only the active recipients, i.e. the current received AIS
signals.
When a received message is not acknowledged, the message is displayed on the
NOTE
chart next to the target name of the AIS sender.
TIP:
Right double click on the message centres the chart on the AIS target.

ENDING MESSAGES
Click on the blue envelop icon located in the Alarm panel or use the keys Ctrl + A or click the
button "AIS messaging" in the target list or right click on the target and select the menu
"Send text message" to bring the AIS messaging window in front.
Select "Outgoing message". The list of sent messages is displayed in the lower part of the
window.
Type a new message in the new message text box or select a pre-formatted message with
SRM pop up.
Select a recipient or check on the Broadcast box and click "Send" button. It is also possible
to send broadcast message within a circle defined by the radius "Inside the circle".
When the MOB button is pushed an AIS SRM message is automatically broadcast.
Scandinavian AIS traffic is accessible via Internet. To connect to the dedicated WEB site login
name and password are required.
