B
EARING TO THE ACTIVE WAYPOINT ON A
The displayed value of bearing to the active waypoint is changed in line with the position of
the vessel and the ECDIS900 calculation to follow a great circle to the active waypoint.
The panel WP ETA displays the ETA value for any waypoint selected by the user. The required
waypoint is selected by clicking the small arrows on the RHS of the panel.
Select between Ship Speed and Planned speed by clicking the two buttons located under the
arrows.
If the panel is not displayed, the user can make it visible by clicking the button
Option and checking on the box "WP ETA" in the console configuration panel.
NOTE
ETA for an active waypoint is always calculated using the ship' speed.
The panel Fixed ETA displays the Waypoint number, the ETA required by the user and the
speed to be maintained to reach the selected waypoint on time.
The fixed ETA function can be used for any waypoint after the active waypoint. There are two
ways to select the waypoint and enter the ETA:
Click right button on the waypoint, select Properties, check on the box Fixed ETA and enter
the ETA value.
In the route plan, click on "ETA of the selected waypoint" and enter the ETA value.
