Settings

When operating the Docking mode the following data is displayed:
distance to anchoring point and speed for both bow and stern.
4 historical positions (step adjustable from 3 to 15 seconds)
predicted position ( see Predictor)
For each anchoring point, course, distance and speed (cm/s) are displayed.
2 speed vectors are displayed from bow and stern.
The following user defined settings are used during the calculation:
Maximum ship speed: limit used in the calculation
Maximum turn rate: limit used in turn rate calculation
Prediction duration: ship symbol plot interval
Time to reach ROT: sets limit to turn rate acceleration in the calculations. After rudder
change, the ship starts turning, and ROT accelerates till constant ROT is reached. (Time to
reach ROT = 0 means that using turn rate acceleration in the calculations is disabled)
Historical values (heading, position and speed) are continuously recorded and processed:
