The Licence File is
invalid.
No error message is
displayed but it is
impossible to install
or update permits or
charts.

UIDELINES FOR TROUBLESHOOTING DURING
Problem
The chart permit for a chart has been
successfully installed but the chart from the
CD cannot be installed (invalid permit).

The specified
permit types do
not match (when
merging permits).
There are no files
called gb.lcn or
gb.ncp in the
folder selected by
the user.
The format of the
chart permit file
doesn't match
gb.lcn-file
structure.
The catalogue files
or chart files are
corrupted.
Proper permit (Navigator
or Skipper) option should
be selected while merging
permits.
Select correct folder in
which the files gb.lcn and
gb.ncp are located
Install permits from the
original BA CD containing
the permits.
Delete manually the
following files:
