Target alarms

To release the anchor circle alarms press a second time F10.
To release other anchor alarm right click on the alarm and select Delete alarm.

ARGET ALARMS
CPA/TCPA
ALARM
The CPA (closest point of approach) and TCPA (time to the closest point of approach) limits
are editable in the panel Alarm of the Ship Properties dialogue.
If both limits are exceeded an alarm will be triggered and the target in question will be
marked and its icon set to flash white.
After the alarm is acknowledged, the alarm message will be disappear the icon will continue
flashing for as long as the CPA/TCPA limits are exceeded or until the target is lost.
If another target triggers a CPA/TCPA alarm, a new flashing message will be displayed in the
alarm box.

OST TARGET ALARM
ECDIS manages both ARPA and AIS lost targets. If no position is received within 3 minutes a
target is considered as lost and ECDIS displays the lost target on the chart with a special icon
(triangle with a cross line and no vector): Lost Target Alarm is raised.
Then if no data is received within the next 30 seconds the target is deleted from the target
table.
