Printing the configuration page
1.
Turn on the printer.
2.
Allow the printer to complete its power-up self-tests. The front panel
displays:
Ready
Info
Clean

Pressing the Menu and Exit buttons together to access the extended
menu. At this level you can access all the main menu items.
4.
Scroll to the main menu item Service Support and then press the
Menu and Exit buttons together.
5.
Scroll to the menu item Test Prints and press the Menu button to
access the list of test prints.
6.
Scroll to the desired test print and press the Print button.
Refer to Appendix B Test Patterns ; it discusses each test print and what printing
defect it reveals.
While the printer is idle, press the Menu button to enter the printer's menu.
Scroll to the Help pages menu item. Press the Print button to print the
configuration page. The configuration page shows a great deal of information
regarding the data and set-up values stored in NVRAM. Refer to the topic,
"Configuration page" on page 2-14 for an explanation of the configuration page.
