3.22.2 Update the software by polling to the host machine.

Here's instructions on how to update the software version of the Flash ROM by polling a host machine.
Important: To make this feature available, turn bit 5 of Unique SW 87 to "1".
1. Press MENU, *, 2, 5. The LCD will show:
Flash Polling
Input Number of Host
2. Enter the phone number of the host fax machine.
3. Press START.
The machine will download the software from the host machine and replace the existing software on your
machine with downloaded software.

Important: To make this feature available, turn bit 6 of Unique SW 87 to "1".
Important: The latest version software should be installed in your machine.
When the client fax machine requests a download of the software from your machine, your machine confirms
if the software version is the same as the client machine's and is in the version list you have entered in step 2
below.
If the same software version of client fax machine is in the version list, your machine will send only the
differences between that version and the latest version.
If the software version of the client fax machine is not in the version list, your machine will send all parts of the
latest software to the client fax machine.
1. Press MENU, *, 2, 6. The LCD will show:
Flash Polling (Host)
Ver1 : A0A0A0 / 11111111
2. Enter the previous software version, not the latest version installed in your machine.
To move the cursor, press < or >.
To enter the number, use the numeric key pad.
To enter alphabet or number, press
3. After you finished entering, press ENTER.
The machine asks you to enter the previous software version.
If you want to enter the other one, repeat steps 2-3. Otherwise, go to next step.
4. Press STOP.
