A built-in battery provides complete system operating power for
approximately 30 minutes during commercial power outages. If optional
locally provided batteries are connected and fully charged, full system
operation can be maintained for an extended time. Actual time depends on
system configuration, traffic conditions, and the capacity of the batteries
being used.
