9.20.1 Servicing

Service parts for the bag support arm include the upper and lower assemblies.
To replace either assembly:
1. Remove the bag support arm from the machine (Section 9.20).
2. To separate the upper assembly
from the lower assembly, use a
small (2.5-mm) pin punch from the
bottom to drive the dowel pin up and
out.
3. To assemble the bag arm, apply a
light coat of Krytox to the area of the
upper arm (A) that extends into the
lower arm (including the dowel pin
groove).
4. Insert the upper assembly into the lower assembly. Align the surface (B) of the upper
assembly with the surface (C) of the lower assembly.
5. Insert the dowel pin into the hole
(from the top side as shown). Drive
the dowel pin into the bag arm until
it is flush with the top surface.
