Check the drain bolt gasket. If it is dam-
aged; replace it.
7.Fill:
• Crankcase
Refer to "ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPEC-
TION".
Oil quantity:
8.lnstall:
Total amount:
3.5 L (3.2 Imp qt, 3.4 US qt)
Periodic oU change:
3 L (2.6 Imp qt, 3.1 US qt)
With oil filter replacement:
3.2 L (2.8 Imp qt, 3.3 US qt)
• Oil filler cap
9.Warm up the engine for a few minutes,
then turn it off.
10.Check:
• Engine
(for oil leaks)
• Oil level
11.lnstall:
• Side cowfings (left and right)
• Bottom cowling
• Bottom cowling (front)
