4.lnstall:
• Valve cotters G)

Install the valve cotters while compressing
the valve spring with a valve spring com-
pressor .

5.Secure the valve cotters G) onto the valve
stem by tapping lightly with a piece of
wood.
Do not hit so much as to damage the valve.
6.lnstall:
• Oil delivery pipe #4 G)
(with the O-rings
®)
• Oil delivery pipe #3 @
(with the O-rings
®)
(onto the camshaft case)

Bolt (oil delivery pipes #3/#4):
~
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft• lb)
7.lnstafl:
• Gasket (camshaft case) G)
• Dowel pins

• Nuts@
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - -
Be sure the "UP" mark is facing up .

WARNING
Always use a new camshaft case gasket.
a.Install:
• Camshaft case

Bolt (camshaft case):

10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft• lb)
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - - -
• Apply molybdenum disulfide oil to the
bolt threads.
• Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern
starting from the center.
