3.lnstall:
• Copper washers
• Brake hose
• Union bolt
Union bolt:
30 Nm (3.0 m • kg, 22
ft •
lb)
NOTE:
• While holding the brake hose tighten the
union bolt, as shown in the illustration.
• When turning the handlebar to the left
and to the right make sure that the brake
hose does not touch other parts (throttle
cable, wire harness, leads, etc.). Correct if
necessary.

• Proper brake hose routing is essential to
insure safe motorcycle operation. Refer
to uCABLE ROUTING".
• Always use new copper washers .
4.lnstall:
• Brake lever
• Brake reservoir
5.Connect:
• Brake switch leads
6.Fill:
• Brake reservoir
Recommended brake fluid:
DOT4
Brake fluid may damage painted surfaces
or plastic parts. Always clean up spilled
brake fluid immediately .
