• Engine tachometer

4.Check:

Engine tachometer:
VU-8036-A/90890-03113
• Ignition timing

Checking steps:
• Start the engine and let it warm up for
several minutes. Let the engine run at the
specified speed.

Engine idling speed:

1,050 ... 1,150 r/min
•Check that the stationary pointer @ is
within the firing range (6) on the crank-
shaft web.
Incorrect firing
range ➔
Check the ignition
system.
