Removal steps:
• Use a wood piece @ to secure the right
side caliper piston.
eTo force out the left side caliper piston
from the brake caliper body blow com-
pressed air into the hose joint opening@.
• Remove the caliper piston seals and rein-
stall the left side caliper piston.
• Repeat previous step to force out the right
side caliper piston from the brake caliper
body.

WARNING
• Never try to pry out the caliper piston.
• Do not loosen the bolts @.

NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - -
Before disassembling either master cylin-
der drain the brake fluid from the entire
brake system.
Front brake
1.Disconnect:
• Brake switch leads
CD
2.Remove:
• Brake reservoir®
• Brake lever@
3.Remove:
• Union bolt
CD
• Copper washers ®
• Brake hoses@
NOTE:
To collect any remaining brake fluid place a
container under the master cylinder and the
end of the hose.
