Adjustment steps:
• Remove the valve lifters
CD
and the
pads®·
NOTE:
• To prevent the pads from falling into the
crankcase, cover the timing chain opening
with a rag.
• Make a note of the position of each valve
lifter
CD
and pad ® so that they can be
reinstalled in their original place .
• Select the proper pad from the following
chart:

sured valve clearance in the pad selection
table. The point where the column and
row intersect is the new pad number.
