5.Air bleed:
• Clutch system
Refer to "AIR BLEEDING (HYDRAULIC
CLUTCH SYSTEM)" in CHAPTER 3.
6.lnspect:
• Clutch fluid level
Clutch fluid level is under the "LOWER"
level line

Fill up.
Refer to "CLUTCH FLUID LEVEL INSPEC-
TION" in CHAPTER 3.
Master cylinder
1.lnstall:
• Master cylinder kit G)
2.lnstall:
• Master cylinder G)
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - -
• Install the master cylinder holder with the
"UP" mark facing up.
• Align the end of the master cylinder
holder with the punch mark@ on the han-
dlebar.
• First, tighten the upper bolt, then tighten
the lower bolt.
3.lnstall:
Bolt (master cylinder holder):
13 Nm (1.3 m • kg, 9.4 ft• lb)
• Copper washers G)
• Clutch hose

• Union bolt@

30 Nm (3.0 m • kg, 22 ft • lb)
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - -
• While holding the clutch hose tighten the
union bolt, as shown in the illustration.
• When turning the handlebar to the left and to
the right make sure that the clutch hose does
not touch other parts (starter cable, wire har-
ness, leads, etc.). Correct if necessary.
