WATER PUMP

Bearing and seal replacement
1.Remove:
• Bearing
CD
• Oil seal®
Tap out from the water pump seal side .
®
Water pump housing
2.Remove:
• Water pump seal
CD
Tap out from the water pump housing
side@.
3.Remove:
• Rubber holder
CD
• Damper rubber ®
(from the impeller)
Use a thin, flat-head screwdriver.
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - -
Be careful not to scratch the impeller shaft.
4.lnstall:
• Oil seal
CD
(to the water pump housing
®)
NOTE: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
• Use a socket @ that matches the outside
diameter of the oil seal.
• Before installing the oil seal, apply tap
water or coolant onto the outer surface of
the oil seal.

Always use a new oil seal .
