6.Thermo unit
• Remove the thermo unit from the ther-
mostatic valve housing.
• Connect the pocket tester
(Q
x 10) to the
thermo unit (D.
• Immerse the thermo unit in coolant®·
• Measure the resistance .
While heating the coolant use a ther-
mometer @ to record the temperatures.
Thermo unit resistance:
so·c (176°F): 47 .. 56 n
1oo·c ,212°F): 26 .. 29 n

Never subject it to strong shock or
allow it to be dropped. Should it be
dropped, it must be replaced .
