3.Remove:
• Brake pads G)
(with the brake pad shims)
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - - -
• When replacing the brake pads install a
new brake pad spring and new brake pad
shims.
• Replace the brake pads as a set if either is
found to be worn to the wear limit@.
4.lnstall:
Brake pad wear limit:
0.5 mm (0.02 in)
• Brake pad shims
(onto the brake pads)
• Brake pads
• Brake pad spring

Installation steps:
•Connect a suitable hose G) tightly to the
brake caliper bleed screw®· Put the other
end of the hose into an open container .
• Loosen the brake caliper bleed screw and
use a finger to push the caliper pistons
into the brake caliper.
•Tighten the brake caliper bleed screw®·
Brake caliper bleed screw:
6 Nm (0.6 m • kg, 4.3
ft •
lb)
• Install new brake pad shims onto the new
brake pads.
•Install new brake pads and a new brake
pad spring .
NOTE:
The arrow mark @ on the brake pad spring
must point in the direction of disc rotation.
