PISTONS AND CYLINDERS
1.lnstall:
• Oil-jet nozzles
CD
(with 0-ring)

WARNING
Apply engine oil onto the O-rings.
2.lnstall:
• Piston rings
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - -
• Be sure to install the piston rings so that
the manufacturer's mark or numbers are
located on the upper side of the rings.
• Lubricate the pistons and piston rings lib-
erally with engine oil.
3.lnstall:
• Pistons

• Piston pins

• Piston pin circlips@
NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
• Apply engine oil onto the piston pin.
• Make sure that the arrow mark@ on the
piston points towards the exhaust side of
the engine.
• Before installing the piston pin circlip,
cover the crankcase opening with a clean
rag to prevent the piston pin circlip from
falling into the crankcase.
• Reinstall each piston into its original cylin-
der (numbering order 1 to
4
from the left) .

WARNING
Always use new piston pin circlips.
4.lnstall:
• Gasket (cylinders)

• Dowel pins

NOTE: - - - - - - - - - - - -
The gasket mark "UP" must be readable
from above.

WARNING
Always use a new cylinder gasket.
