2.lnstall:
• Thermostatic valve cover®
• Thermostatic valve housing

NOTE:
Bolt (thermostatic valve cover):
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft• lb)
Bolt (thermostatic valve housing):
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft• lb)
Before installing the thermostatic valve
housing, apply a thin coating of lithium-
soap base grease onto the O-ring.

WARNING
Always use a new O-ring.
3.lnstall:
• O-rings
• Water jacket joint (inlet)
CD
• Holder (carburetor breather hoses)®
4.Connect:
• Oil cooler hose (outlet)@
5.lnstall:
• Water jacket joint (outlet)
CD
Bolt (water jacket joint):
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft• lb)
NOTE:
Before installing the water jacket joint,
apply a thin coat of lithium-soap base
grease onto the O-rings.

WARNING
Always use new O-rings.
6.Fill:
• Cooling system
Refer to "COOLANT REPLACEMENT" in
CHAPTER 3.
7.Adjust:
• Throttle cable free play
• Refer to "THROTTLE CABLE ADJUST-
MENT" in CHAPTER 3.
