23.5 Basic Commands

Basic commands are in all modes.
When in Basic mode, the command prompt is as follows:

The following is a list of available Basic commands:

DESCRIPTION
In Basic mode, this disconnects you from the
device (identical to logout).
In other modes (such as Privileged), this returns
you to the previous mode.
Lists available commands.
Displays a list of previously run commands.
Disconnects from the device.
Pings the specied IP address.
You can use the following parameters:
: Determines the number of echo
-n count
requests to send. The default is 4.
: Adjusts the size of the ping packet
-l length
by the number of specified bytes (64~8148).
: Pings the specified host until the break
-t
(ESC) key is pressed.
: Adjusts the timeout duration for
-w timeout
the ping packet in milliseconds. The default is
1,000 milliseconds.
Displays the device's network configuration.
Shows the device's system configuration.
