TP Sensor Adjustment

Inspect the TP sensor setting position and adjust it if
necessary in the following procedures:
1) Connect the special tool (Mode select switch) to the
dealer mode coupler. Refer to "Self-Diagnostic
Procedures in Section 1A (Page 1A-11)".
Special tool
: 09930–82720 (Mode select switch)
2) Turn the mode select switch ON.
3) Check the position of the bar in the left of C code
displayed on the LCD panel.
"A": Incorrect position
4) Loosen the TP sensor mounting screw using the
special tool and turn the TP sensor to bring the bar
to the correct position.
Special tool
: 09930–11950 (Torx wrench)
5) Tighten the TP sensor mounting screw to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque
TP sensor mounting screw: 3.5 N·m (0.35 kgf-
m, 2.5 lbf-ft)
6) Turn off the engine and install the right air cleaner
box. Refer to "Air Cleaner Element Removal and
Installation in Section 1D (Page 1D-6)".

IAT Sensor Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Remove the fuel tank. Refer to "Fuel Tank Removal
and Installation in Section 1G (Page 1G-9)".
2) Disconnect the IAT sensor coupler (1) and remove
the IAT sensor (2) by removing the mounting screw.

Installation
Install the IAT sensor in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following point:
• Tighten the IAT sensor mounting screw (1) to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque
IAT sensor mounting screw (a): 1.3 N·m (0.13 kgf-
m, 1.0 lbf-ft)
