Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement
1. Open the hood. Remove the nuts IA) and the
windshield wiper arms
(8).
2. Remove the hood seal and cowl cover.

12.5 kgf·m,
18lbf·ftl
3, Disconnect the 5P connector IA) from the wiper
motor (8).

4. Remove the bolts IC), move windshield wiper
linkage assembly (0) toward the passenger's side
of the vehicle until it slides off of the pin IE), then
remove the assembly.

5, Scribe a line IA) across the link and windshield
wiper linkage to show the original adjustment.
Separate the windshield wiper linkage
(8)
from the
wiper motor IC).
6. Install in the reverse order of removal, and note
these items.
• Apply multipurpose grease to the moving parts.
• Before reinstalling the wiper arms, turn the wiper
switch ON, then OFF to return the wiper shafts to
the park position.
• If necessary, replace any damaged clips,
• Check the wiper motor operation.
